Join us on a guided hike of the most popular trail at Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area, and learn about the history of the property and the nature you will encounter along the way! The Brook Walk follows Shannon Brook as it rambles through the woods and leads to viewpoints of seven spectacular waterfalls, with much of the trail following the route that led Ossipee Mountain Park visitors to these points more than a century ago. Signs along the trail provide descriptions of the waterfalls and include old images, providing an idea of how these falls appeared to visitors many years ago.

This is a moderate hike of about 1 mile and has an elevation climb of approximately 200’. It also includes several sections of rock stairs.

Please wear appropriate footwear, dress for the weather, and bring sunscreen and bug spray as desired.
