The show includes original and cover songs and backstage stories\, and surprises. John will feature songs from his twelve albums\, tales from his Las Vegas shows\, television variety appearances\, and his roles in Walt Disney movie musicals. Each song is enhanced using our multimedia video screen. It’s an evening of comedy\, inspiration\, and nostalgia. And each show is unique! \n>>John will be supported at his shows by bass player John Petruzzelli. Here’s a bit about (the other) John: John Petruzzelli is a multi-instrumentalist who has taught and performed in Carroll Country region for the last twenty years. He holds two degrees\, one in recording technology and another in jazz studies. John owns and operates a recording studio in Wolfeboro where he engineers and coaches aspiring artists in all avenues of music. Growing up by the lake\, under the banner of the Great Waters music festival\, John witnessed some legendary musicians come through the town of Wolfeboro\, stars like Chuck Mangione\, John Pizzarelli and Bradford Marsalis inspired him to play and perform at any chance he could. At Club Sandwich\, JP will support JD on upright bass\, providing a solid foundation\, and a complimentary musical voice to showcase some of America’s greatest tunes. \nAfter the show you can say hi to John\, take selfies\, and of course he’ll be glad to autograph any merchandise purchased at our gift shop. Pieces inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright\, others of stained glass windows\, and most recently Becky has embarked on earrings that have tiered shapes of color that descend in size. Perfect for those who want something that is unique. Using polystyrene\, Becky draws her designs\, hand colors them\, and then using an Xacto knife\, cuts out the designs\, some of which have such intricate open spaces you will be amazed. Becky will be demonstrating her process on Saturday Sept 9th from 11:00 to 1:00. Autumn Artistry: A Series of Demonstrations is part of Experience Fine Craft in New Hampshire\, which features events and demonstrations sponsored by the League of NH Craftsmen organization and their Fine Craft Galleries throughout the Fall.

DESCRIPTION:Beginner Tapestry Weaving class on Sunday\, September 10th\, 2023\, from 10:30am – 4:00 pm with juried artist Lisa Almeida. What to expect: In this class\, you will learn the basics of how to create images with fiber using a simple tapestry loom. You will weave a tiny tapestry from start to finish and leave with your loom warped and ready to start a new project at home. Who should attend: Anyone interested in learning the foundational skills of tapestry weaving is encouraged to attend. If you’ve never touched a loom in your life\, this class is for you. If you are an experienced hand-weaver\, you will discover a new way to enjoy your loom. About the Instructor: Lisa Almeida discovered tapestry weaving in 2017. She was immediately captivated by the joy of creating images with fiber and has been weaving nearly every day since. She is a member and past Director of Exhibitions of the American Tapestry Alliance\, and a juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen. Her work is sold and exhibited locally and nationally. Tuition is $135.00 per student\, and the material fee is $40.00 Materials fee includes: A wooden tapestry lap loom with accessories (beater comb\, shuttle stick and tapestry needles) – all of which you will keep. John owns and operates a recording studio in Wolfeboro where he engineers and coaches aspiring artists in all avenues of music. Growing up by the lake\, under the banner of the Great Waters music festival\, John witnessed some legendary musicians come through the town of Wolfeboro\, stars like Chuck Mangione\, John Pizzarelli and Bradford Marsalis inspired him to play and perform at any chance he could. At Club Sandwich\, JP will support JD on upright bass\, providing a solid foundation\, and a complimentary musical voice to showcase some of America’s greatest tunes. \nAfter the show you can say hi to John\, take selfies\, and of course he’ll be glad to autograph any merchandise purchased at our gift shop. DESCRIPTION:Join us on a guided hike of the most popular trail at Castle in the Clouds Conservation Area\, and learn about the history of the property and the nature you will encounter along the way! The Brook Walk follows Shannon Brook as it rambles through the woods and leads to viewpoints of seven spectacular waterfalls\, with much of the trail following the route that led Ossipee Mountain Park visitors to these points more than a century ago. Signs along the trail provide descriptions of the waterfalls and include old images\, providing an idea of how these falls appeared to visitors many years ago. \nThis is a moderate hike of about 1 mile and has an elevation climb of approximately 200’. It also includes several sections of rock stairs. \nPlease wear appropriate footwear\, dress for the weather\, and bring sunscreen and bug spray as desired.

SUMMARY:2023 Corn Maze Features Ice Cream at Moulton Farm\, Meredith NH
DESCRIPTION:Starting September 23\, have fun getting lost\, picking pumpkins\, and enjoying local food \nFor their 21st annual corn maze\, the Moulton Farm team was inspired by the farm’s history and the newest attraction at the lakes region farm. The 2023 design is a giant ice cream cones and ice cream scoops celebrating the farm’s ice cream stand and food truck launch earlier this year. \n“The idea came about at a farm team meeting during which we ate a fair amount of our ice cream\,” admits John Moulton with a laugh. “But it\, like our ice cream\, ties into my family’s history of running this farm.” \nMoulton’s family has farmed at the Meredith location for over 130 years. His father ran it as a dairy farm for years. “I think my father would be pleased that our ice cream benefits our farm as well as another small business started by a fourth generation farmer and a family run dairy farm that supplies the milk for our ice cream.” \nAs for the corn maze’s ice cream cone design\, Moulton and the team at the farm aren’t giving any clues about the solution for getting through the maze. “Let’s just say ice cream isn’t the only thing that will make your brain freeze!” jokes Wes Thomas\, who has been working at the farm since he was 14 and designing their mazes since 2007. “It’s a sweet design sure to get you turned around.” \nThe maze will open on Saturday\, September 23. Visitors can enjoy pumpkin hunting\, either in the farm’s “pick your own” pumpkin patch or from among the pre-picked pumpkins grown at the farm\, and there are other reasons to visit. \nWagon rides will be offered on most weekends and are free. Live music is also happening on select Saturdays and Sundays. Fall displays and games will make for good pictures\, and the farm’s garden center will feature items to use for decorating. \nFood featuring produce grown at the farm and Moulton Farm ice cream will be available from the farm’s food truck. Other classic fall favorites will be available at the Cider Bellies Doughnut stand and at the farm’s market including apple crisp\, freshly baked pies and whoopie pies in several flavors made in the farm’s kitchen and bakery. Yankee Magazine called Moulton Farm’s whoopie pies “the best in New England.” \nMoulton Farm’s corn maze opens September 23 and will be open 7 days a week starting at 8 am. The last admission to the maze is one hour before the farm closes. Admission costs $10 per person with a special $6 rate for each child between 6 years and 3 years of age.
