SUMMARY:Family History Research Workshop Week 1: Introduction to Family History Research
DESCRIPTION:The first in a four-part workshop series\, this introduction to genealogy will walk you through developing a research plan\, documenting your findings\, validating information\, and considering software and database options for building your family tree. These workshops are led by Ginny Martin\, a retired librarian and software engineer with her Certificate of Genealogical Research from the Boston University Center for Professional Education. Sign-up is required for each of the four sessions. These workshops will take place every other Wednesday\, beginning July 5th and ending August 16th\, and will build off of each other.
