Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be sold in 15 minute intervals to limit capacity to 10 people in the Barn at a time. Timed tickets will go on sale Friday, December 4th on our website here. Non-member adults: $10. Member adults: $5. All youth under age 12 are free.

The Magic Journey begins at the “magic wardrobe”, winding and meandering through the North Shop Barn, which has been transformed into a winter wonderland. The Barn features artist-created vignettes, including a Shaker Christmas, a dollhouse and skating panorama, and snow-laden forest scenes. More surprises await, including a Find-the-Elf treasure hunt, and, on
weekends, a Christkindlmarkt-inspired artisan market of handcrafted holiday gifts. Hot cocoa and cider will be available, and the Moolicious and Sweet Crunch Bakeshop food trucks will be at the Village on December 12 & 19. Also on December 12 from 3-4 pm, there will be a live musical performance by Massimo Paparello and his brass quartet, Eau De Vie Quartet.

This Brass Quartet features Massimo Paparello and Simone Trovato on trumpet, Jack Bert on Trombone, and Luke Sieve on Bass Trombone. Eau De Vie Quartet’s inspiration came from the beautiful autumn scenery and acoustics at the Cold Garden Distillery in Canterbury, NH. As students at the New England Conservatory, our influences include Classical, Jazz, and Contemporary music. We play a wide variety of original music, arrangements, classic brass quartet repertoire, and everything in between.

The Village Store will be open, so please stop in to get started on holiday shopping. New items are arriving weekly! Festive holiday decorations, provided by Canterbury Plantation, and illuminated lights will add to the holiday spirit at the Village.

A Magic Journey through the North Shop Barn is a socially-distanced event with safety
guidelines in place. Masks are required and all barn doors will be open to optimize air flow.
